In 2025, the series will race at The Original Speedway Park and Marion County Speedway and additional tracks may be added for fun races.
TIRE RULES for Outlaw Karts NO PREP
Tires are to be purchased from series and impounded to keep equal playing field for points races. If the series sponsors tires, those will be used for points races only. Practice tires not impounded can be purchased from series but not raced in local or points races. This is to control the NO DOPING rule. Tire serial numbers will be recorded. Fun race tires can be held by the family but follow strict no doping rule and will be check each event. If a tire is found out of range using a durometer, cleaning or prepping with chemicals, grinding, or any sort of prep not mentioned action will be determined by series from DQ to being banned from the series. Cleaning tires between practice and heat races is not allowed. Tires may only be cleaned with water after the feature race. We are building drivers, not tires!

What are the drivers age?
Ages 5-14 years old
What engine do the karts run?
Engine used is the Briggs LO206. The same Briggs engine is used for all 3 classes and is sealed. Classes are determined by different length slides that limit airflow through carb.
What are the clutch rules?
Shoe clutch only
What are the classes?
Cadet, Beginner Box Stock, Box Stock based on age and driver skill. See Series Rules for more details.
What are the weight requirements?
Cadet and Beginner Box Stock both run 285lbs. Box stock is 325lbs.
Do I need RACEceiver?
The series will require working RACEceivers or REceiver before hitting the track. This is to allow the track or officials to communicate with drivers for safety reasons such as cautions and incidents.
What tires are used?
Spec Hoosier D20 Slick Tire, This is to keep drivers equal and to keep cost low. Absolutely no prep or any chemicals allowed on the tires at any time. No alterations of the tire allowed. Tires must be purchased from the series and will be impounded and kept in the series race trailer. Front tires Hoosier D20 11×6.0-6, Right rear D20 11×8.0-6, Left Rear has the option to use either the 11×6.0-6 or 11×8.0- 6.
